Head of IP Rights Management

Joe Guiliano is our Head of IP Rights Management. Prior to the spin-off of our product business, Xperi Inc., from our IP licensing business in 2022, Joe served as the Head of IP Rights Management at Xperi Holding Corporation (renamed Adeia Inc. at the time of spin-off), responsible for patent portfolio development, patent assertion, and patent acquisition functions. Prior to that, Joe served as outside IP counsel for the media businesses of Adeia’s predecessor companies starting in 1995. Joe is the founder and a partner in Haley Guiliano LLP, an IP law firm with offices in New York, San Jose, and London in 2017. Prior to that, Joe served as a partner at the law firm of Ropes & Gray LLP. Preceding Ropes & Gray, Joe was an IP litigation, prosecution and transactional lawyer at the law firm of Fish & Neave LLP, which merged with Ropes & Gray in 2005.

Joe holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law and a B.A. degree in biological sciences and a B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering (with honors) from Rutgers University.
