Jarl Berntzen
Jarl Berntzen is our Chief Corporate Development Officer. Jarl has had an extensive career in both investment banking and corporate development roles with expertise in public and private M&A transactions, strategic development and capital raising. Most recently, prior to joining Adeia in 2023, Jarl was Managing Director of Technology Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co., where he was responsible for building and managing the firm’s technology M&A efforts. Jarl has held senior roles at various other investment banks and investment firms, as well as leadership roles in corporate development at Dolby Laboratories and Rambus. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he worked for over a decade.
Jarl holds both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
