Dana Escobar
Dana Escobar is our Chief Licensing Officer and General Manager – Semiconductor. Prior to the spin-off of our product business, Xperi Inc., from our IP licensing business in 2022, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Semiconductor IP at Xperi Holding Corporation (renamed Adeia Inc. at the time of the spin-off). Dana joined the company in 2020 as Vice President of IP Licensing. Prior to joining Xperi, Dana was Vice President of IP Licensing at GE, Chief IP Counsel at Sharp Laboratories of America and Director of Sharp Corporation's U.S. IP Center, Senior Director of IP Licensing at LSI Corporation/Avago, Licensing & Litigation Attorney at Discovision Associates, and a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County.
Dana holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California Los Angeles, School of Law and a B.A. degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
